5. Henry PETERS (1) was born in 1763 in Rockingham Co., VA.. He Census (3) in 1805 in Anderson Co., TN.. He Census (6) in 1830 in Jackson Co., AL..(7) He Census (7) in 1840 in Jackson Co., AL..(8) He died between 1840 and 1845 in Peters Cove, Jackson Co., AL.. Did show that he was from Germany. See his ancestors, and it might make s ense.

Anderson county, Tenn. Henry Peters, 1 free poll, and Tobias Peters 1 fr ee poll. Land located at C Creek. C stands for Cold, Coal, or Cane. Anders on Co. was created Nov 6, 1801 from part of Knox Co., and part of Graing er Co.
Henry was probably a Revolutionary Soldier. Catherine his widow who was li ving in AR. at the time filed for a widow's pension. It was refused. Ca se # R8145.

I got it off of the internet that his wife was Meg. ??? per Stephanie morr is.
I got info from David Bunton's book that his wife was full blood Cheroke e, and her name was ME HA Catto or 'Meg'

Four counties in the southwest corner of PA. was claimed by VA. until P A. got it in 1776.

Henry's older brother John Sr. built a log cabin near Maysville Alabama, a nd was listed on Madison Co tax lists from 1811 to 1813. Henry left Sevi er Co., TN., and joined his older brother John, before They located in Ja ckson Co., AL,. They settled in a cove, and it is known as Peter's Cove.

CATHERINE(1) was born in 1766. She Census (5) in 1830 in Jackson Co., AL..(7) She Census (6) in 1840 in Jackson Co., AL.. (8) She died about 1850 in Unknown.(9) Catherine is supposedly a Cherokee Indian. Check William Shepherd's note s. Porsche is questionable. Got it from some papers of Ethel Peters Taylo r.
If this is Aaron's mother she was probably born in TN. It is on the 18 80 & 1900 census.
Catherine probably died, and is buried in AR. She filed for a widow's pens ion on Henry. A Revolutionary Soldier. Request was denied. Case # R8145. W hen she filed she was a resident of AR. The place filed from was Van Bure n, AR.
Catherines' son Hiram went back to Alabama around 1850 she may have gone w ith him, and might be buried there. Just a thought. Henry PETERS and CATHERINE had the following children:
